I-1639 Mandated Firearms Safety Class

Knock out the I-1639 mandated firearms safety training requirement with this informative class.

You will receive the proof-of-training certificate that you will need to purchase a semi-automatic rifle in Washington state after July 1, 2019.

The class will cover:

Basic firearms safety rules
Firearms and children, including secure gun storage and talking to children about gun safety
Firearms and suicide prevention
Secure gun storage to prevent unauthorized access and use
Safe handling of firearms
State and federal firearms laws, including prohibited firearms transfers

Prerequisites:

All students should be WA residents (out of state residents cannot purchase semi-auto rifles in WA even with training), and must be US Citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents. Any students under the age of 18 must attend the course with a parent or guardian.
