Advanced Confrontation Simulations

Sound judgment and timely responses in a self-defense situation are enhanced by experience in high-stress interpersonal conflict situations. None of us want to gain that experience as the target of actual criminal assaults. This scenario-based training course will provide you with repetitions of high-intensity experiences that will exercise and develop your judgment and responses to rapidly developing threat situations.

You will use specially modified training weapons and paint marking cartridges to allow you to participate in interactive force-on-force training against human adversaries in realistic situations.

Each student will experience multiple repetitions as both the "victim" and the attacker. The scenarios will exercise your split-second decision-making ability, tactics, and weapons skills. After every scenario you will receive a detailed debriefing, examining each aspect of your skill set and recommending possible alternate courses of action and tactics.

Prerequisites:

General Defensive Handgun (or equivalent), Concealed Weapons Permit or documentation of good character.

Required Equipment:

Long sleeve shirt and long pants; Light gloves that you can manipulate a handgun while wearing; Eye protection/shooting glasses

Optional Equipment:

Elbow and knee pads
