In the Advanced Military Operations in Urban Terrain course Students will learn: Realities of the urban environment, urban movement techniques, crossing streets and intersections, moving on open streets, moving through building, target approaches, room clearing, hallways, stairwells, full building clearing, basics of mechanical, ballistic, and explosive breaching. Man down drills, strong-pointing rooms, buildings and urban areas. Urban combat uniform and equipment, barrier penetration, use of ladders and other specialty equipment. Lessons will be taught using a viraty of equipment based on the units capabilities; Blanks, Simunitions, Airsoft, and MILES equipment can be used. Units with prior CQM training may also conduct live-fire sessions on the urban combat subjects.

Handgun w/ belt holster, longarm w/ sling, full raid gear, soft elbow and knee pads, soft body armor (please remove hard plates), eye protection (entry goggles), mouth guard & groin protection, dummy handgun and longarm if possible, notebook and pen
