Issaquah is in King County, Washington conveniently located off the I-90 corridor just 16 miles east of Seattle. Neighboring cities include Seattle, Lynnwood, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, and Kent. Bus service is available by Sound Transit and King County Metro. The neighbouring highlands are called the Issaquah Alps and feature hiking trails and outdoor activity throughout the three mountains. There are also many cultural and historical activities to be found in the town of Issaquah itself.

There is plenty of sightseeing, hiking, kayaking, and boating activities to make you wish for a longer stay in the Puget Sound.
