CQ Marksmanship - Handgun

Students will learn to operate their service handgun in a CQM environment. Critical task evaluations (CTE’s) will be taught and tested. Accuracy, multiple shoots on single targets, multiple target engagement, ready position, drawing the handgun from the holster, tactical and speed reloads, stoppage reduction, shooting while moving, transitioning from primary weapon to handgun, weapons retention, night fire techniques.

Handgun w/ belt holster 1000 rounds of ammunition 3 magazines or speed loaders Flashlight (SureFire type preferred) Full gear i.e. armor, helmet, gas mask Knee pads Hearing and eye protection Notebook and pen
